Mr. Ashish Rakheja

Mr. Ashish Rakheja is a partner at AEON Consultants and has a post graduate degree in thermal engineering with over thirty years of work experience. He is a seasoned consulting engineer who has designed over 4000 projects, including hotels, airports, data centers, hospitals, retail, residential, commercial, high-rise, and industrial projects. Mr. Rakheja specializes in high-performance buildings and has been actively involved in leading design activities of electro-mechanical services for eleven Net Zero Energy Buildings, two Net Zero Water Townships, and over a hundred Platinum rated green projects in India. He has spearheaded the green building movement in the country since 2001 and currently serves as Chairman of the Technical Committee at the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). Mr Rakheja is a presidential member of ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating & Air Conditioning Engineers) and the first Indian to be elected as vice president of ASHRAE, USA, including serving for five years on its board.
